A guideline document has been prepared by the NSFS working group on medical radiation in Norway and provides a compilation of experiences, dose assessments, legislation, and international evidence regarding pregnant and breastfeeding workers who may be exposed to ionizing radiation or MRI. Its purpose is to support radiation protection advisers, radiation safety officers, managers, and other stakeholders in making consistent, proportionate, and evidence-based decisions.
