The Bo Lindell award 2023 was awarded to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ritva Bly<\/span> from the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority in Finland, who gave a presentation with the title <em>&#8220;&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2019,<\/strong> the XVIII NSFS conference was held at Hanasaari in Espoo\/Helsinki, Finland\u00a0 on June 10 \u2013 14. The program, proceedings and presentations from the conference can be found <u><a href=\"https:\/\/nsfs.org\/?page_id=1423\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/u>. The Bo Lindell award 2019 was given to <u>Mette \u00d8hlenschl\u00e6ger<\/u> from the Danish Health Authority, who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>Making a difference<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2015,<\/strong> the XVII NSFS conference was held in Roskilde, Denmark on August 24 \u2013 27. The program, proceedings and presentations from the conference can be found <a rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nsfs.org\/?page_id=643\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a> . The Bo Lindell award 2015 was given to <u>Sigur\u00f0ur Magnusson<\/u> from the Icelandic Radiation Safety Authority, who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>Nordic co-operation in an international context<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2011,<\/strong> the XVI NSFS conference was held in Reykjavik, Iceland on August 22 \u2013 25. The program and abstracts from the conference can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nsfs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Program-NSFS-Conference-2011.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a>. The Bo Lindell award 2011 was given to <u>Jack Valentin<\/u>, scientific secretary at ICRP and previously the Swedish Radiation Protection Institute, who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>Past, present, and future problems \u2013 are there any solutions?<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2008,<\/strong> the XV NSFS conference was held in \u00c5lesund, Norway on 26 \u2013 30 May. The proceedings and presentations from the conference can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nsfs.org\/?page_id=1938\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a>. The Bo Lindell award 2008 was given to <u>Sten Carlsson<\/u>, Uddevalla Hospital, who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>Education and training \u2013 the basis of radiation protection for medical exposure<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2005<\/strong>, the XIV NSFS conference was held in R\u00e4ttvik, Sweden on 27 \u2013 31 August. The proceedings from the conference can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nsfs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Proceedings-NSFS-Conference-2005.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a>. The Bo Lindell award 2005 was given to Hans H. Brunner, from Fachverband f\u00fcr Strahlenschutz (Switzerland), who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>From Pandora\u00b4s box to Sisyphus<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>2002<\/strong>, the XIII NSFS conference was held in \u00c5bo, Finland on 25 \u2013 29 August. The proceedings from the conference can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/nsfs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Proceedings-NSFS-Conference-2002.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">here<\/span><\/a>. The Bo Lindell award 2002 was given to S\u00f6ren Mattsson, from Medical Radiation Physics in Malm\u00f6, who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>Radiation protection among populations, patients, personnel, plankton and plants \u2013 What can we learn from one another?<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>1999<\/strong>, the XII NSFS conference was held in Skagen, Denmark on 23 \u2013 27 August. Clarke, from the International Commission on Radiological Protection United Kingdom, who gave a presentation with the title \u201c<em>Towards ICRP 2000: Issues that are of importance for radiological protection as the millennium approaches<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>1993<\/strong>, the X NSFS conference was held in Kristiansand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>1990<\/strong>, the IX NSFS conference was held in Ronneby, Sweden on 29 \u2013 31 August.
