Membership

You may become a member of NSFS, if you support the aims of NSFS. I.e. you are interested in and/or actively involved in radiation protection issues, and have connections to one of the Nordic countries, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden.

Basis for membership can be a degree from a university or high school, or achieved knowledge and experience from specialist studies or professional activities.

There is a formal requirement for support from two existing members, but if you do not know any members of the society, the national Board members will help you fulfill this requirement.

Membership fee

• For the 2020-2023 period the membership fee is 40 euro for ordinary members.
• New members pay 1/3 of the ordinary fee for the period
• There is no membership fee for retired members, provided the Board have been notified of the retirement in writing
• There is no membership fee for honorary members
