Welcome reception

All participants are welcome to join the get-together reception in the evening 5^th of June at Malmö Live. The reception mingle include refreshments and appetizers, that will be served on the first floor of Malmö Live in the locality “Living room”. Please indicate in the registration form if you wish to attend the welcome reception.

Bo Lindell award

After opening of the conference on Tuesday 6^thof June, the Bo Lindell Award ceremony will take place. The awardee will then give a presentation highlighting a topic of choice. The Bo Lindell award is suggested by the hosting country and agreed upon within the NSFS Nordic boards. The awardee will be announced at the conference.

NSFS General Assembly

On Wednesday 7^th of June, the General Assembly of the NSFS will take place in the main auditorium of the conference venue. All members of NSFS are welcome and encouraged to participate. The General Assembly of the Society is held each fourth year in connection with the regular meeting. During the General Assembly decisions are made on fundamental matters of the Society, including the election of a new President and board of the next hosting country as well as board members of the other Nordic countries for the next four-year period. This is also a good opportunity for the NSFS members to present suggestions on the future work of NSFS or its focus or structure etc.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be held at Malmö Live on the 2^nd floor in the restaurant “Eatery social taqueria” on Wednesday, 7^th of June. The event starts at 19:00 and includes a three-course dinner with beverages. The conference dinner is included in the conference fee, but participation must be indicated in the registration form (as well as special food preferences or allergies).

Young scientists’ event

During the evening, Thursday 8^th of June, a special get-together will be arranged for the young or early carrier members of NSFS. This event is organised in cooperation with SWE-RAYs. More details will be announced later.
